Go Baby Girl! Go!

Okay so since Ta started soccer she has turned into a little athlete. She has entered into Track and Field and had her first meet the other day. She qualified to represent The Discovery School in the Broad Jump. She Placed 5th in this category. This was a first in her Book of Life. She was so excited. And I am glad she is starting to like these sports. She really enjoys Soccer and is going to soccer camp this summer. She wants to get better. Her coach told her the other day that she a potential. She can kick let me tell you and her kicks are fierce.

Like Father, Like Son

Okay so Many of you know us and know how my husband Bobby is a BIG Car Buff, he loves car, bikes, ATV; okay anything that has Wheels and can make some noise . This is #1 in his life. Watching movies/show about them, how to shows, Car shows....he will has a wreak on day and whip lash i might add when an Bad Ass Car or bike passes us. He also loves working on them as well. My son Jayden is showing early signs of the addiction. It amazes me everyday with how alike they are. It truly is Like Father, Like Son. Jay can and will make anything into a Steering Wheel. He will sit for hours with his hot wheels. It was at the Science Center that I really got to see this. There was this Garage in the Center and Jay headed straight for this and immediately started to change tires and get underneath it like he knew what was truly wrong with it. Jay even likes hanging out with his daddy's friends.

Lucky One 4 Continue....Trip to Alabama...Never was good at Science

Okay so in April i won ticket to McWane Science Center in Alabama. Well My sister Jordan and her 2 kids joined us in the fun of knowledge. I was really fun. I started our day bright and early 7am. took to the road make several bathroom breaks. We have 3 kids who just haven't learned to hold. On the way there We witnessed something I have never seen before.......a wreak in the making. On the opposite side of the interstate driving north bound was a SUV in the median driving straight for us, then we look up and there she was a King Cab Pickup truck towing a travel trailer, the trailer was fishtailing and then it just tipped over taking the truck with it, the camper fell against the interstate sign, the truck just kept on flipping. I called 911 but for the sake of the 4 kids we were traveling with i didn't stop to check. I was afraid the the lookers....and you know that the drivers would be looking at whats going on and not pay a lick of attention....would hit us. So I just dialed 911 gave the information and kept on going. I still wonder to this day if that family is okay. And I thank God that the Tractor Trailer traveling behind the Camper was able to stop and not cause anymore damage. But eventually we made our way to the Science Center. It was awesome. There were lots of things to do and see. The Kids could interact with just about everything there. We stayed about 4 hours and left for home. By the end of the trip kids were getting restless but I have to say it was the best trip I had in a long time.

Lucky One ...part 4

Okay so yesterday driving home from work, I called into Mix 92.9 to play the game 5 o'clock rewind. It's a game where they will give you the events you guess what year they happened in....yep you guessed it. I had the answer. the event was Ronald Ragan getting shot... the year 1981. I won 4 tickets to Mcwane's Science Center in Birmingham, AL and a $25.00 gift Certificate from Applebee's. So in the last four months 4 times. Amazing! I will tell you how everything goes.

Soccer 2009

Okay so Tatum not really been into sports. But the last year or two she has been wanting to play soccer: just never knew how to get her enrolled, so This year I found out how and I signed her up, she had her first game last weekend. Watching her have so much fun has been really exciting. She is really enjoying herself.

Now we just need to get Jayden interested in something. He does not want to do soccer. He wants to play football. so I guess stay tuned in the fall and see if Jay falls through.

okay so I had these ticket i won off of myspace. It was to a concert with Telluride in Indiana. I did no get the chance to go. I really wanted to go. But no fear.........

Luck One Part 2

Okay, so Just before Sound and Speed, Our Local Radio Station called me at work...I had just won 4 tickets the the Colgate Country Showdown hosted by Leanne Rimes. Well I have won these tickets 3 years in a role now and have taking Bobby, Jordan and Ryan. The show was great as usually. This is a TV Taping so we start out the evening with clapping.......A LOT of Clapping. This year it was all guys competing. Now the guy that won was Josh Bulford, He was my second choice. I was hoping the winner was Korey Blake. His last song was awesome. So if you log on to Colgatecountryshowdown.com in the next month or two it will tell you when it will be airing on GAC. Check it out you just might see me....lol

Lucky One part 1

Well Just before Christmas, I won 2 VIP tickets to Sprint Sound and Speed 2009 in Nashville. These tickets included 2 day passes, Friday the Montgomery Gentry Concert featuring Rodney Atkins and Julianne Hough. Saturday is the Autograph Sessions with Drivers and Country Artist and a Model...lol.

Friday was the Concert. Bobby and I got to go about 2 hours before the Concert started to a Special Lounge; there sprint catered food and drink, free give-a-ways, and Micheal Waltrip. Bobby and I both won a meet and greet with RODNEY ATKINS. oh my gosh ladies he is so nice. He brought his son Elijah with him. As you can probably see from the big Ole grin on my face I was pretty stoked about the whole thing. After meeting Rodney bobby and I headed back to the lounge and just hung out until the concert which was awesome.

Saturday was the autograph session where bobby and I met Dale Jr., Kyle Petty, Josh Turner, Dierks Bentley, Michael Waltrip, Jason Michael Carrol, Aaron Tippon, Bernie Lamar, (model)Nikki Taylor, Bobby Hamilton Jr., and much much more. One of the Best Things in my life.

I love going to church. I want to go every Sunday. I want to teach the lords words........The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is one of the best things in my life...and i cant even do that right. I love all of my brothers and sisters at church. I wish I could be more like them. I know that Christ lives, I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I know that this church is true. I just wish i was able to believe in myself. I know that this is not the best way to talk to my lord but it sure makes me feel better to have my words written down. I want my family to attend church everyday. but with me i need familiar faces and my husband. After Bobby was baptised we were going to church. but once we were comfortable more familiar faces move. I know that I need to go for the lord and savior. but with me i need comfort, I do have the comfort of the Lord, but when you don't hardly know anyone you feel like the odd ball out. My two Best Friends (Erin and Rainy) in this world left. They were my rock. I didn't attend church just for them but having them around, with friends like that sure made it easier. i know that sounds stupid. Rainy: still around but has changed. Erin: mission, marriage, Texas. I know everything changes as we grow up, but I have never been the kind that liked or take change very well. I still know a couple of people there but only one that is around my age from my past always heard she didn't like me very well, never understood that because I always and still thought she was a really nice and sweet talented person. But for now I feel like I don't belong. I hate feeling this way. I need my church. I dream of going to the temple and being sealed as a family, I have never had my patriarchtical blessing. Bobby believes in it all, he just needs a little push. He is more shy than I am. He has been a member for 3 years and in that time he has never said his prayer in front of me or our kids. He can't give talks, i don't mean won't , he can't. He wants to go to listen to the lords words to try to understand them. and when one person asks him to say the pray he says no and then feels bad and can't face them anymore for awhile. And Bobby is my familiar. With Bobby as the patriarch of the family I feel I need to follow him. I need to follow my lord. I make excuses for bobby when all I want to say to him is get up and go to church, not just sacrament but classes as well. I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE!!! But at the same time I don't feel worthy. Look Bobby and I has lived together and had a child out of wed lock. I regret that, but not my daughter. I wish I would have done things different. but I didn't and know I have to feel this way for the rest of my life. I can say that we don't smoke, do drugs, or drink so we do have that going for us. I just now need to do more with my life especially now. Since 2006 I have personally be diagnosed with diabetes, non alcoholic fatty liver disease, high blood pressure, and just recently had MRSA which put me out of commission for awhile. Still fighting with the diabetes but has almost beaten the liver disease and high blood pressure. I do pray with my children every night i just wish Bobby would pray and attend church with us. I live by the word of wisdom except i don't pay my tithing like I should. Please Heavenly Father Help me and my family.

Okay so today is my little boy's birthday. It is hard to believe it. For the last couple of months we have asked what would he like...... he has always replied with "2 Cars". He is a car man.....just like his daddy. I do wish he would get interested in other things but cars is what he likes. He had so much fun. We just stayed home and had him a little party but he really enjoyed him self. And of course every one just about got him "2 cars". he had 20 by the end of the day. Where does time GO! Just yesterday he was in my arms needing me for every little movement in his life. now his getting around and even has friends in his life that he wants to spend time with more than his own family.....and he's 4 years old.

Conquering a fear (a mini one)

okay so most of my friends know I my fears both big and small. You also know where i work. well if you can't tell by the picture.lol. Well I could never stick my finger in my eye! Just couldn't. Notice:....I said COULDN'T.... well now I can. It has been a week since i started wearing Contacts. I Love Them!! I have been where glasses for 2 years now. Glasses are OK, but man when I put on these contacts my vision is soooooo much sharper and clearer. I can not believe it has taken me this long to work myself up just to wear contacts. And.....Aannd.....it wasn't that bad at all. Yes a little extra work but i can handle that.

My Most Hated Disease!!!

So If any of you know what this is......then you have or know someone who has diabetes. I hate this thing. however it is my life line. After 2 years I still can NOT prick my fingers. I am thankful that I don't not have to take insulin. I definitely can't do that.. no way....no how. And even after 2 years diabetes still scare me. I have family members who are really have trouble with it and have had thing amputated. And I have to admit, sugar is my weakness and I am having trouble staying away from it. but my A1c test is still down. GO FIGURE! I guess it would help if my family didn't want me to buy the stuff for them. At the same time it's expensive to buy healthy. I know, I know...No excuses. I will try to be better.

Dinners

Bobby don't really like my cookin'. He states "It's not like momma makes it". Well momma lives 1 min away from us go eat there. But Monday knight I made some steaks and he loved them. He even took the left overs to a friend and he states he would buy that steak in a restaurant. I can't believe Bobby finally likes something other than my taco's for dinner. I thought it was good as well, the kids.....well they would rather have chicken nuggets.
