Dickson Dolphins 2011 Homecoming Princess
So the Dickson Dolphins had there homecoming...on a Friday Night!!! Didn't like that. But We were told a couple of weeks ago that Tatum would be Homecoming Princess. I am so excited for her. It was again hard to keep this secret from her. I have video...coming soon....of her just so unaware until Coach Sarah puts on her sash and she read it...the BIG smile on her face says so much. I really love my baby girl and I am so proud of her. Tatum is an amazing young lady and I'm not saying this because she my daughter! She is very friendly and helps out her family..she deserved this.

Chattanooga, TN

My Husband and I took a trip to Chattanooga. I know we live in Tennessee, but we have never gone to Chattanooga and visited, passed through a few time on the way to Georgia. So we decided (along with some great friends of ours) to take an overnight trip. We drove to Chatt on Saturday morning we visited Ruby Falls and we went on a not so scary ghost tour through downtown. It was full of ghost history. I never got that weird feeling someone was standing beside me,but liked it just same. Sunday morning before we left for home we stopped at The Tennessee Aquarium. I did feel guilty that my children weren't with me but i had such a good time.

I Won Something......Again

I enter a contest to win 4 tickets to the Nascar Sprint All-Star Race on May 21, 2011 and ...........................I got them. I won the tickets. Now who do we want to take with us. Hummmmm!

Spring 2011 Sports

So Tatum has started Sports again. Of course Soccer and she added something new to the mix, softball. This is her 2nd year of soccer and 1st in Softball, This past weekend (4/2/11) Tatum has 2 soccer games. Let me tell you , I am one happy momma! She played goalie for the first time. (Previous season they didn't have goalies)

She knew what she was doing. She played goalie the second half of the game. She took a ball in the gut and just kicked that ball down the field. The coach wants her to be goalie again this weekend. That's my girl. Now as for softball, she is getting the hang of it. however most of the girls on her team have been playing since they were 4 or 5. She has a lot to learn but I have faith in her. We will just have to teach her.

I played softball for 1 year when I was 12 or 13. I loved it, but I was terrible at it so I didn't play again because I thought I was letting my team down just by playing. And I did it because it let me spend more time with my Best Friend Erin Chumley.

One of the funny parts is that Tatum's Team name is Tennsco, which is where Bobby works. So we have to support Tennsco everywhere! :)

Tatum seems to enjoy it and right now there are no conflicts with her doing soccer and softball at the same time. So I guess time can only tell.

PEEWEE SUPER BOWL

Saturday Oct. 9, 2010-Dickson Dolphin Super Peewee Series.
Silver Dolphins vs. Orange Dolphins.
The crowd is wild. Well maybe just us mamma's! But this was a good game. Video to come soon, still in editing phase. Orange Dolphins won 12-14. Jayden was on the Silver Dolphins Team. I am proud of him. As much as I have criticized. I still love him and he did a great job for this being his first year playing football. WAY TO GO ORANGE DOLPHINS!! And this is the Best Game of the Season. That night out JV Peewees (aka Super Peewees) also played the Fairview Titan. JV Peewees won 24-6, Dolphin Peewees Won 34-24, breaking the undefeated strike Fairview Peewees had going on. Our Minor won 24-0 and remain undefeated. Our Majors.....finally won a second time. Better luck next time Fairview.

Dolphin Homecoming

Thursday Night (Sept 9th) Tatum's Cheer Coach came up to Bobby and I and told us Tatum will be crown Duchess (2nd runner-up) of Homecoming Saturday Night. I am so proud of her. She will be so excited. It was real hard not to tell her right then and there, tell her how proud we are that she is our daughter. It has to wait and the look on her face, the big grin she had. Priceless!

Something New...

The Kids embarked on something new......Football and Cheerleading. Jayden is a PeeWee and Tatum is a Minor. They really enjoy it.....so far.

The World of Vampire's and Werewolf's.

Okay so I haven't been on here much, I have been totally in another world...The World of Vampire's and Werewolf's. I couple of months ago i..at the age of 30......discovered "Twilight". I watched the movie in July and fell in love with it. After watching it I just had to find out what happens next......so..........i went out and bought all the books. And I have read them over and over again. I just can't seen to put them down. How obsessed am I?! I am so obsessed that I even have the book titled bookmarks for each book plus bookmarks with caraters on them, the new moon calander, twilight directors notebook, twilight the complete illustrated movie companion as well as new moon movie companion, and I have both of the US magazine "sexy stars of Twilight and New Moon. I could have gotten a lot more stuff but my husband will have a fit. I did take a 4 day break after reading through them again for the 8th time, to find something else. Well I have been watching this TV show on the CW on Thursday nights, "The Vampire Diaries". I know a vampire obsession, I guess....lol. I went to Borders Books to find anything to get me off my obsession with Twilight, and i find more vamps. These books are good to , I bought the first two books of the vampire diaries series and now i need to go get the other two. Its a really good series. But.....I found my way back to reading Twilight. My family makes fun of me because I am reading it over and over again. But there is something about that world that is just so interesting. It nice to be in a mythical world a couple of hours a day.

Go Baby Girl! Go!

Okay so since Ta started soccer she has turned into a little athlete. She has entered into Track and Field and had her first meet the other day. She qualified to represent The Discovery School in the Broad Jump. She Placed 5th in this category. This was a first in her Book of Life. She was so excited. And I am glad she is starting to like these sports. She really enjoys Soccer and is going to soccer camp this summer. She wants to get better. Her coach told her the other day that she a potential. She can kick let me tell you and her kicks are fierce.

Like Father, Like Son

Okay so Many of you know us and know how my husband Bobby is a BIG Car Buff, he loves car, bikes, ATV; okay anything that has Wheels and can make some noise . This is #1 in his life. Watching movies/show about them, how to shows, Car shows....he will has a wreak on day and whip lash i might add when an Bad Ass Car or bike passes us. He also loves working on them as well. My son Jayden is showing early signs of the addiction. It amazes me everyday with how alike they are. It truly is Like Father, Like Son. Jay can and will make anything into a Steering Wheel. He will sit for hours with his hot wheels. It was at the Science Center that I really got to see this. There was this Garage in the Center and Jay headed straight for this and immediately started to change tires and get underneath it like he knew what was truly wrong with it. Jay even likes hanging out with his daddy's friends.

Lucky One 4 Continue....Trip to Alabama...Never was good at Science

Okay so in April i won ticket to McWane Science Center in Alabama. Well My sister Jordan and her 2 kids joined us in the fun of knowledge. I was really fun. I started our day bright and early 7am. took to the road make several bathroom breaks. We have 3 kids who just haven't learned to hold. On the way there We witnessed something I have never seen before.......a wreak in the making. On the opposite side of the interstate driving north bound was a SUV in the median driving straight for us, then we look up and there she was a King Cab Pickup truck towing a travel trailer, the trailer was fishtailing and then it just tipped over taking the truck with it, the camper fell against the interstate sign, the truck just kept on flipping. I called 911 but for the sake of the 4 kids we were traveling with i didn't stop to check. I was afraid the the lookers....and you know that the drivers would be looking at whats going on and not pay a lick of attention....would hit us. So I just dialed 911 gave the information and kept on going. I still wonder to this day if that family is okay. And I thank God that the Tractor Trailer traveling behind the Camper was able to stop and not cause anymore damage. But eventually we made our way to the Science Center. It was awesome. There were lots of things to do and see. The Kids could interact with just about everything there. We stayed about 4 hours and left for home. By the end of the trip kids were getting restless but I have to say it was the best trip I had in a long time.
